Model FS20X Flame Detector
The FS20X Flame Detector is a next-generation, multi-spectrum flame detection system that integrates ultraviolet (UV), dual infrared (IR), and visible (VIS) sensing technologies to deliver superior fire detection performance. Built on the proven platform of the SS4 Flame Detector, the FS20X provides faster response times, extended detection range, and industry-leading false alarm immunity.
Unlike conventional UV/IR detectors that rely on narrow-band 4.3-micron IR sensors, the FS20X uses WideBand IR™ technology combined with a solar-blind UV sensor, enabling reliable detection in challenging conditions such as heavy smoke, contaminated lenses, and installations behind glass. This ensures consistent operation where older detection technologies may fail.
